Hey Everyone, Bonnie and Ann just got back from the Keys and a wreck dive down in
Pompano. Bonnie ran into her old friend the sting ray she calls Wally. She first met Wally on her first wreck
dive.

We went away for a little while but now we are back and ready to get serious.
This is the Suncoast Divers club and we want all of our members to get involved even if its just to say hi. We work hard and
play even harder…

Wow! How exciting is this, I got to actually
stand on the wooden planks of a Civil War steamer. The steam boat was sunk by the Confederacy to keep
it out of the hands of the Yankees. The boat was sunk at the mouth of the springs off of the Swannee River. The
water was shallow at that particular point so I got to stand on the boat. The spring it's self is 72 feet deep
and an awsome dive. If you ever get the chance go check it out. The park furnishes little yellow wagons to trek
all of your equipment down to the water, which makes it a whole lot easier to get everything down. The water is
fabulous and you will see many turtles and a wide variety of fish, so it is well worth the drive.
